Bread Classes

Whether a first time bread maker, or a confident baker, we have a range of classes suitable for everyone in which you will learn classic techniques, and a few tips of the trade in these hands on classes.

If you have always wanted to make delicious bread at home, but felt it too difficult, then this class is the perfect way to get hands on practice and build confidence. In a three hour class, you will make a wholemeal seeded sandwich loaf, soft white rolls, delicious olive grissini and finish off with a 'quick' soda bread. You will learn tips and tricks to work with dough, and dispel any myths that bread baking is difficult! You will take home recipes and all goods baked in class.

Bread making is a wide and varied art, and there are many different flavours and methods to try once you have mastered the basic loaf. Not just using a variety of grains and flour, but also by adding different flavours, and in this class we explore some tasty options for creating delicious artisan bread at home.

In this class we will be demonstrating how to make a rustic beer cob loaf, roasted tomato foccacia and finishing with a delicious tangy rye bread. All breads will be hand made in class using techniques that can be replicated at home. You will take home everything made in the lesson along with recipes. This is a great hands on class for both beginners and confident bakers.​

Enthusiastic mini bakers will love this holiday class! Over a three hour period each child will be making pizzas (to enjoy in class), floury white rolls and breakfast muffins. Parents are very welcome to join in too! Suitable for ages 6-10.

Sourdough uses some of the most ancient form of breadmaking techniques, and produces delicious results. In a four hour class, you will bake a classic white cob, olive and rye bread and sourdough muffins in addition to making your own 'starter' to take home and cultivate after the class. 

In addition to hands on baking and forming techniques, you will also learn more about the processes behind sourdough making, and how to recreate the magic at home! You will take home lots of delicious sourdough bread at the end of the class.
