WHERE IT BEGAN...
I have always been involved in the world of food… raised a farmer's daughter in Yorkshire, the provenance and making of food has always been an important part of everyday life, and at the earliest opportunity started working in kitchens and bakeries.

After graduating from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Literature, I moved into the world of publishing but always hankered after a return to the kitchen! I decided to take the plunge, packed my bags and moved to America to enrol at the Baking Institute of San Francisco to train professionally in baking- specifically bread and pastry.
 
Following completion of formal training I have worked in artisan bakeries in both America and the UK, before moving into event catering, specialising in pastry and desserts for a number of prestigious venues. I now offer bespoke classes to pass on my skills, in addition to private and event catering.
