BAKING & DECORATING CLASSES

Classes are taught in small groups, with each particpant receiving lots of hands on experience! All recipes covered will be baked from scratch by students, under the guidance of a professional to ensure great results that can be replicated at home. For private class dates, just get in touch!

The perfect class for the baking beginner. In a three hour class, you will learn the basics of cake baking, building your confidence to recreate recipes at home. In addition to practical advice and baking theory, you will make individual lemon drizzle cakes, a classic carrot cake with zingy cream cheese frosting and fluffy chocolate filled muffins. You will take home recipes and all goods baked in class.

Suitable for both the complete beginner, and confident home baker, you will learn how to make three different cupcakes and frosting recipes in this three hour class, in addition to different decorative techniques. Making rocky road chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing, zingy lemon meringue cupcakes with meringue frosting and iconic red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, all will be individually decorated for a professional finish. You will take home all goods and recipes from the class.

What nicer way to spend a few hours than baking a delicious afternoon tea to enjoy at home? Suitable for both beginners and experienced bakers alike, you will be learning how to make sweet pastry tartlets filled with frangipane and mixed berries, individual Victoria sponge cakes with buttercream and jam filling, and finally delicious fruit scones.

This is a 3 hour class, and all goods made will be taken home to enjoy.

Learning the fundamentals of working with different icing, in this hands on class you will individually decorate a selection of 9 cupcakes using buttercream and fondant to create smooth surfaces, and following techniques to create beautiful decorations.

You will learn how to create ribbons, flowers and buttons in addition to embossing in this fun and informative 3 hour class. Perfect for the decorating beginner looking to get tips on creating professional cakes, and you will take home 9 beautiful cupcakes.

The French certainly know their stuff when it comes to delicious patisserie, and in this 3 hour class you will have the opportunity to learn the basics of classic French baking. Learn how to make delicious honey madeleines, sweet pate sucree fruit tartlets and finally a rich tarte au chocolat, all to be taken home and enjoyed at the end of class, along with recipes and tips learnt along the way.
